Word of the Day

#Thankyou for supporting me, #bloggers and #igers in my #Italianblogger #posts. I want you to learn #Italian with my #wordoftheday / #laparoladelgiorno #instagram / #instagood #picoftheday posts and #blog. This photo is credited to @wwmelizzaw; she spent 5 weeks in Italy and she said #gelato, or #icecream was a big #favorite of hers on her trip. Thanks for the #love, Mel. ❀️

Fun fact about gelato: It has a higher ratio of milk and a lower proportion of cream and eggs or sometimes no eggs at all. The gelato is churned slowly, much slower than ice cream which allows it to be denser and have less air. Ever get gassy πŸ˜πŸ’¨ after ice cream? Because there’s a lot of air… πŸ˜‚ Lol… Have gelato and your case will be better… πŸ€—

Word of the Day:

Ice cream – Gelato
The ice cream – Il gelato
An ice cream – Un gelato
Ice cream(s) (plural) – Gelati
The ice cream(s) (plural) – i gelati
